A lot of fun

It's a bluetooth rolling "robot" that you control with your phone or tablet. The real benefit of the Sphero is the ability to write programs in their visual programming software. The purpose is to teach programming. I think it is spot on for that task. And it's fun to just drive it around. I give this one 4* because the bluetooth is easier to use on their alternative device the SPRK edition. I've found some issues with the SPRK edition not working with Amazon Fire tablets / phones unless you get the software from the Play store which is a pain. If you multiple users and have relatively recent iOS or Google Play get the SPRK edition over this one. If you have a Fire tablet / phone or an older iOS device, get this one.

Surprisingly fun and versatile

But I was in a remote control kind of a mood. Sphero caught my eye because of all the apps and the good reviews. And I was not disappointed. Take it for a spin, and I doubt you will be disappointed either.

Great fun and interactive toy for all

We've had a blast playing with it and leveling up with it.. unlocking things for it to do.

A fun toy that seems to have multiple functions.

She has it paired with her iPhone and seemingly is showing me something new with it every couple of days. The dog also has a fun time chasing it around the house. A little expensive, but she seems to be playing with it on a regular basis - at that is what is desired.

A blast to use

I think it may deal well if i left it alone she might chew it but otherwise with genral play not a problem. Having a blast with the programming side to and the many apps. Unfortunately now it is trying to program and mess with it without the dog getting involved. Purely my fault.....

Fun for all ages

You can program it, use it as a game controller, to play with your pet, as an educational tool, etc. It is really tough and durable. I would also buy the knobby cover for great traction on slick surfaces. The sphero and cover are reasonably priced.
