If you have downloded the Shero R2D2 app youll get all the star wars interactive programs which is great. Also if you download the SpheroEDU app you are able to re-program and write command java scripts on its own and share your javascripts to sphero EDU community, you can reprogram R2D2 to talks his Movements and create sounds combined all programs. Fantastic App. This is just not a toy. Your kids will learn how to reprogram this robot functions using the spheroEDU app!

Controlling R2-D2 is fun even for a 38 year geek. Children will love figuring out how to control with either the force band or a phone app. And R2 looks great next to BB-8.

If you are anything like me, having an R2D2 Enabled Droid is a must have especially if you are a StarWars fan! This little guy does everything that is advertised and more. You can find additional hidden tricks which is not discussed (check YouTube)! The whimsical sounds and movements brings hours of pure entertainment for the old & young. Combine the two droids R2D2 w/BB8 together & they interact nicely, both behaving differently— so cool! Good job Sphero!! 5+ Stars
