I do own the original series on DVD, but none of the movies. This set seemed like a great idea to get all the movies and upgrade my original set to BluRay. So game on! Picked up the one and only copy of Star Trek 50th at my local Best Buy. Exterior was in new condition, shrink wrapped. Interior was a different story. Box the free Federation PIN came in was crushed and ripped. (See photo). One of the posters was out of the package/folder, free floating in the box. It had a ripped/dented corner (see photo). A few of the disks were popped out of their clips within the boxed set. Any one of these problem might be acceptable as harsh shipping, but all together, not what I expected. The overall box is also not so shelf friendly for home storage. Storing sideways takes up a LOT of space. Considering a return/exchange at this point. Sadly they only had a single copy available. Shrink wrap makes me suspect this was repackaged/restocked. It is only packaging, but as an expensive collectable I expect better.. Have not watched the disks yet, pending exchange. Hopefully they are in better shape than the package.

I am very Happy to have bought this but was surprised when getting it from Best Buy and it said Best Buy only Villains graphic which didn't show up inside. Also was glad it was half the price then Amazon. Also disappointed it didn't have digital copies of TOS and the movies.

This is a great set for anyone who loved the original series. I've watched every episode and movie multiple times.
