Customers recognize the Death Star Pro Galaxy Projector as a great night light for children, praising its rotation feature which simulates the night sky. However, some customers find the projector expensive considering the limited number of slides and the less-than-perfect image quality. The lack of clearly labeled constellations on one of the slides was also noted as a potential area for improvement.

I bought item for my Son from Best Buy through Deal of the Day! He was in awe when we put it on at night in his room! I was in awe and wanted to buy one for our master, but wife said no :( . The only issue that I have is the following. I wish it came with more disc to display different other pictures. I would also be willing to buy others, but I do not think that there any other disc. The item is worth as a discount, not regular price. But it's an amazing night light that does move!

The item is smaller then expected prior to actually purchasing the item. However, it serves as a great projector/night light for my son. It has a timer for either 30 or 60 minutes so you can use it as a night light that will shut off. The map of the Star Wars galaxy is informative when you want to have an idea of where the places and planets are in the universe. The constellation chart of our own galaxy would of been better served with having names on it versus just a blank map. The Death Star scene is great, my son enjoys it the most especially since you can have it rotate around the scene in a circle.

I'm biased. I'm a Star Wars fan. It looks cool just to have a Death Star sitting on your shelf even if you don't turn it on. I definitely would not suggest paying full price. I didn't. It was a Deal of the Day for forty bucks. But this thing but it's still worth getting if you're a fan & it's a decent display piece even if you don't plug it in. A couple of complaints: 1) I do not understand why they couldn't locate the power port at the back toward the bottom. A clear design flaw in my opinion. So get used to a micro USB cable sticking out of the side of your Death Star projector. 2) I knew this going in because of reading reviews before buying but they shouldn't call this a projector. Certainly the description gives the impression that you'll see a clear constellation of stars across your ceiling. You will not. You will see a blurry mess of light. You may think me generous giving this item 4 stars but it's a Death Star y'all. Still cool just to have on the shelf!
