Best Buy selling used as new
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Best Buy sent a re-wrapped used copy. Case was broken, disc was scratched. I got the original trilogy and Rogue One as a gift fir a 12 year old. Didn’t discover that 3 of the 4 were re-wrapped used discs…all with broken cases. Outside of the return window, so that’s fun.

Fantastic Collectable For Star Wars Fan!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When this Blu-ray steelbook was on sale for 9.99 on May 4th, you couldn't pass it up even if you own the original trilogy on Blu-ray already. the collectable steelbook is worth the price of admission for 9.99. However, be warned. The extras are scarce on these and no Digital Copies at all. This set is very bare bones. Only get this edition if you want the collectable packaging or if you must own everything Star Wars.

Star Wars never looked so good
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This whole steel book collection is amazing and so unique. It's well worth getting separate movies than the box set.

||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I went ahead and picked these up during the May the 4th holiday sale. I'm happy that I finally purchased the 4K editions of these films. They look great on our tv and the soundtrack is top notch.

Q: QuestionWill this include the original theatrical version? Lucas's version with added footage is not the great memory I have of the Star Wars trilogy. I sure hope they give us at least both versions and not just his official version.
Asked by Movielover.
- A:Answer Sorry movielover, but the versions you are describing are NOT in this set and probably will never be offered again. The only way to get the 1977, 1980, 1983 "versions" are the following: The 2004 DVD sets that were made before "Revenge of the Sith" came out in 2005. (Official Release) *The quality on those were atrocious for DVD format ability at the time. The 1995 THX VHS sets (official release) The 1995 THX Laserdisc individual movies (official release) The very first VHS versions that ever came out in the 1980s (official release) *Quality on those are poor for today's TVs. The "Despecialized" manufactured on demand Blu-rays (unofficial release) *You can find out how to get those online as I don't have that info. here. Now that Kathleen Kennedy is no longer a part of the SW movie making process, I have hope that one day in the future we may get an official 4K release of the original trilogy.
