    Finishes Ori Storyline

I have been a pretty avid Stargate fan for a while. And if you are buying this then you at least have probably seen the end of SG-1. Well this movie picks up where season 11 would have if the show had not been canceled. It finishes the Ori storyline within our galaxy. Basically here's a quick summation. Daniel Jackson finds a weapon developed by an ancient on a planet. The weapon itself isn't destructive, it's just a weapon that reveals the truth of the universe to anyone who sees it. They find the weapon but can't activate it without the code, and every attempt to fight the Ori in our galaxy is being thwarted by Vala's daughter whom has now ascended to become the only Ori god left. And because she's the only one left, she gets all the power. Once we have an idea of how to attack, the team is kidnapped and we are helped out by an ancient, Morgan LeFay, that speaks to Dr. Jackson. At the end is a quick but none the less all out Ascended on Ascended battle between Morgan LeFay and Adria. We find out the code for the weapon and use it on an Ori Doci (Because all their staves are linked together telepathically, so we can hit them all at once.) and we of course win. The movie overall isn't too bad, and definitely a must have if you are collecting the series on DVD or Blu-ray. I will say this, there is one beautifully done shot of Teal'c walking towards the Ori HQ like Moses with a staff that looks both nice and funny. As usual the Digital Matte Paintings and Visual Effects are just a notch above what's in the show. I will say definitely worth a 4 out of 5.

    Admitted Error

I am a huge Stargate fanatic and was overall disapointed in this DVD movie. There were a lack of special features and even on the special feature they admitted to skipping steps. It felt rushed and some of the scenes were very cheesy. Of course, anything Stargate is a welcome after the series was cancelled, but I expected more. All this movie was, (again, according to the man himself), was a long episode they were going to shoot anyway for season 11, if there was one. I will say Amanda Tapping gets better looking everytime I see her, but she cant be in every scene.

    Awesome-Very great movie!!!

Love the movie. Ended the Ori story well, but didn't have much action in it. Seems like every story ends the same way. For example the Guald, Replicators, and Ori were all stopped by some ancient artifact or device. Overall the movie was very thrilling, entertaining, and very fun to watch. I hope that the next movie comming in this summer( The Continuem) has all the star cast members, lots more action, and end's the story with nothing left hagging.

    A good Ori ending

When I watched the last TV episode of SG1 I knew they couldn't leave us hanging and I'm glad they didn't. This last episode/movie is a must see for anyone who watched the last TV episode. It was a good and well thought out end. It was a bit hard to watch the end because this was the first show that I latched onto after the end of DS9. I'll revisit Stargate Atlantis.

    Stargate; The Ark of Truth

After long anticipation we get the final chapter in the Ori story. I think they should have had the entire movie deal with the Ori ending, without having to revive the replicator's for more drama. I thought the replicator aspect was not needed and even a bit distracting from the main thread of the Ori story. Still well worth the sit to watch.

Nice Way To Finish Ori Arc

If you're a SG-1 fan you have to get/see this movie. It felt like an extended version of the TV series and not a movie. This made it enjoyable as they didn't change a successful format/feel just because it is a movie. There was the usual good mix of humor, action, suspense and twists. Definitely glad I bought it!!!

    Great Stargate Movie

This is a great movie to conclude the story arc of the previous two seasons. It lives up to the expectation. The only con about this movie is the use of a well used plot line. Though even with this, the movie is an excellent addition to the Stargate community and hopefully the first of many movies to come.
