Imagine my surprise when I went to plug my old printer into my new HP P7-1414. No parallel port to be found. That should tell you how long it's been since I got a new computer! So, I started looking around to see if my HP LaserJet 1100 would even work with Windows 8. It would, with the default drivers already installed. So, did a search on BestBuy.com for a card, narrowed my selection down to this one, and hit the button. Shipping was quick, and in no time I was popping the case open. I had a little trouble getting the card to install, but that might have just been me and my klutz genes in action. Once I got the card to seat, I buttoned the case back up, installed my printer cable and was rewarded with a test page. All is right in my world. :)

Parallel port add in card for a newer PC. It does its job well. No problems with install or using it.

Needed to add a parallel port to a Dell pc, went to Dell website to find product. Dell was sold out, tried Best Buy, had the same product for less. Was easy to install and easy to setup. Works great.
