This deluxe reissue of an already classic metal album comes packaged in a hardcover digibook with a bonus 5.1 surround sound bonus audio DVD (as well as a live video performance of "Face of Melinda"). Initial fears of a brickwalled remastering were quelled quickly; this thing sounds amazing, and has all the dynamics of the original with a deeper, clearer sonority. Even if you already own a copy of Still Life, I recommend adding this version to your library. Top shelf, as is usually the case with Peaceville special treatments.

Great album, beautiful packaging & remastering. I echo the previous comments; even if you own the original, I would get this one instead because it betters it in every way, in particular the 5.1 mix. Peaceville always goes the extra mile in quality imho.
