Gary Gray directs this biopic about the rise to stardom for the act that earned the moniker of "The World's Most Dangerous Group", featuring Ice Cube's son O'Shea Jackson Jr. playing the role of his father, Corey Hawkins as Dr. Dre, and Jason Mitchell as the late Eazy-E.~Daniel Gelb
Feature Commentary with Director/Producer F. Gary Gray
The movie was great. There were some very complicated and moving situations that really made u focus on the story. I followed the group when I was young and the movie did hit some key points of NWA's career but not all. Honestly there was so much going on with the group that it just wouldn't fit into one movie. All in all great storytelling.
Straight outta Compton was an Epic movie and the group NWA made history in music! The movie pack was an incredible value with the Blu-Ray/DVD and ultraviolet discs and getting a free t-shirt was an added bonus!
Definitely a movie my family will watch and rewatch.
