The wacky crew is sent to a Canadian town that has been reclaimed by the United States after a recently discovered border error, where they must win over the less-than-thrilled locals. Hilarious movie. If you love the first Super Troopers and the Broken Lizard gang, this movie will not disappoint. It's full of much of the same humor and plays on many of the jokes from the first movie.
Plus, you'll get to learn about Cracklin' Bacon. (I'm gonna eat you like a pulled pork sandwich!)
I loved every bit of it. Like the original, you either get it or you don't. I must disclose that I was an Indiegogo backer so I am obviously a huge fan of the original. I had no idea what they were going to cook up but after experiencing Super Troopers, Club Dread, and Beerfest during my developing college years, I grew to love everything these guys came up with. I fully understand the people that don't get their movies. You really need to throw out your inhibitions, drink a beer or something else, and just enjoy the fun for what it is and don't try to take it seriously. It's like that night out at the bar when you had the time of your life with all of your friends. Remember that? Me either, let's go back for another round.
Broken Lizard, if you happen to see this: Keep it up guys, don't listen to the critics! They will never understand but we all know that. You are doing right by your fans and this is one of the few times, more likely the only time, that I have ever blindly thrown money at something and came out feeling on top. I wish that I knew it was going to be this good so I could have donated mor
I wasn’t sure how this one would turn out, but it met & beat my expectations. I’m a huge fan of the first movie (and Beerfest), and this movie doesn’t disappoint. Parts of the story are just silly & some of the jokes miss, but overall, I was “plum surprised”.
Perfect late-night, goofy comedy. Great for watching with the first movie and can still enjoy even if you haven't seen the first movie. The broken lizard group makes a lot of great movies and they have a really unique type of humor. The best part is you get blu-ray, DVD,and the digital download which is choice because you essentially can watch this movie on any/or though every device imaginable.
