Batteries were sulfated bad! Otherwise great.
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. These run off two lead acid 12V 2.8AHr batteries in series for 24V. After a full charge they only held up for about 10 minutes. I disassembled the scooter and charged them with a pro reconditioned. Even then they only ran 20 minutes. Basically, VRLA lead acid batteries have a shelf life. If left on the shelf without a maintenance charge for more than 6 months they begin to sulfate and lose their charge capability. These boards aren’t a new product. They’ve certainly been on the shelves at least that long. So if your board doesn’t last long, then take it back pronto and try again. Rinse wash repeat. I replaced our Batteries with two new Powersonic PS-1227 batteries. They fit barely. And now the board lasts for most of the day. While I was at it I removed that awful beeping sound by desoldering the resistor to the speaker. All of this voids the warranty. But this is a toy and a warranty is kind of a joke. So I fixed it myself. That aside it’s perfect for my 7 year old. Not too fast but still real sporty and stable. It’s his favorite toy ever. I’m glad I spent the extra $50 for new batteries. And my son thinks engineers are awesome and Santa should hire me. Lol. Priceless.

Seems like a good product with a bad chargerdesign
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. My only disappointment with this purchase is how badly thought out the charger is. The cord is barely as long as the hoverboard and strain relief on the end that plugs into the hoverboard is non-existent. It looks adequate until put into practical use. We broke our supplied charger on the second charge just being plugged into the hoverboard and the wall. We have resorted to charging the hoverboard on the kitchen counter away from any foot traffic after getting the charger replaced. By comparison the charger on my older sons Razor brander hoverboard has a much longer cord and a more robust end that plugs in to the hoverboard it self. As the summary says, it seems like a solid hoverboard with a crappy charger. I would look into getting a spare charger is if you buy this.

11 year old son loves it!
||Posted . Owned for 3 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a fun toy for kids. Make sure they wear a helmet. The only down side is the battery only lasts around 45minutes - 1 hour when fully charged. I am hoping the battery recharge will last for at least 2 years. We have an electric scooter that only lasted a year and there's no way to replace the battery. If that happens to the hoverboard then it would be useless as you cannot self propel it like you can with a scooter.

Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had to wait to review as it was a Christmas gift for my 8 yr old Grandson. He loves it. In fact he is on it constantly. He is standing on it and going back and forth on it even as he plays fortnite. His 6 yr old sister also loves it. I tried it myself and about killed myself. Guess my 60 yr old self cannot do it. I have noticed that he has to recharge it ALOT. Maybe uses it for an hour then it goes back on the charger. Other than that it rolls very smoothly and goes over blankets and that sort that are on the floor. Very happy with my purchase.

Q: QuestionIs this UL2272 certified? Interesting this question hasn’t been answered. I don’t want a fire started in my house.
Asked by Biggirl.
- A:Answer There should be a holographic sticker with a UL on the bottom of the board if it is. It's only for the battery, according to what I read last night, but that's the most important part as far as UL goes. My son's T882 does have the sticker.
