Good product, but could use some ironing out
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The concept is great, and the execution isn't too shabby. However, the packaging quality leaves something to be desired, and the unit itself seems cheaply made. Clothes smell great and wrinkles do go away. Could use some presentation enhancements - it looks fine in the garage but would look cheap next to furniture.

solid, not elite
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I like the device but it is not worth the money. It is difficult to set up the clothing appropriately and there is a large learning curve. It does not take out heavy wrinkles. It makes your clothes smell great and look like new. Single pod for single item is excessive. Would of paid 250 for it if I had to do it again but definately not worth 500

Beats going to the cleaners all the time.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We previously owned a Whirlpool Fabric Freshener which was discontinued a few years ago. We were very excited to see them team up with Tide to create this new model. Our original shipped unit was delivered in a damaged box and Best Buy had a new one shipped a couple of days later and they picked up the other unit. Make sure you have someone move it for you if you can. It's 80 lbs. We use this at least 2 or 3 times a day usually with 2 items in it. Everything comes out smelling fresh and it does as good of a job as ironing in my opinion. It save a great deal of money on dry cleaning and you avoid having to make extra trips. Here's a little secret: We often put distilled water in the pods with a syringe instead of buying the pods at .50 cents each.

Doesn't Do Everything, But is Great for What it Is
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Okay, so, this isn;t a magical dry cleaning device, but it is a magical dry cleaning device... That may be confusing, but it really is a great machine that does a good job, but can't do everything, so as long as you aren't expecting perfection it will meet or exceed your expectations. The four stars is because of the issues it has with pits on long sleeve shirts, they need to be manually steamed after being run through the Swash. AND EVERYTHING SMELLS AMAZING.

Does what it says
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It does what it says... I can steam and freshen my business suits without having to take them to the dry cleaners. It gets rid of most of the wrinkles except the really creased ones. Worth the money! Now I only take my suits to the dry cleaners if and when they have a stain. The only reason it doesn't get five stars is the price. It takes a while before it lays for itself.

Works well but it's all about how you use the clip
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall I am happy with the product. In my line of work often I wear dress shirts for half the day and it seemed like a waste to send them to the cleaners constantly. This product allows me to wear a shirt a couple times before sending to the cleaners and is saving me money on my cleaning bill. My only complaints are that the pods are not available locally anywhere and it is a little bit of a science on how to properly apply the clips to get the smooth wrinkle free result.

Not a revolution, but a great evolution in landry
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Let me first say, no this doesn't replace regular laundry, and it doesn't replace dry cleaning. But what it does do is great. The concept of refreshing clothing that hasn't been worn long, or a quick refresh of that suite between dry cleanings is really great. I've even found that the biggest user is my teenage daughter as she uses swash to make sure he clothes have that freshly laundered look each day before school. It's quiet, sized to fit easily into a laundry room or even bedroom.

Q: QuestionHas anyone tried using just water (instead of a pod) with this machine, to steam garments? If so, how does that work out?
Asked by Betsmc75.
- A:Answer After you have used the pod once. The SWASH will leave a small hole in the pod. You can take the pod out and refill it with water. I use distilled water or filter water. I wouldn't over fill the pod with water. I fill it with just enough water where the small little trickles stop coming out of the hole. Then I place the pod back in the SWASH and use it like you would with a regular pod. Once it's done your clothes come out wrinkle free. You just don't get that fresh scent smell. I always rotate my pods out at least once but no more then twice. I wouldn't recommend reusing the pods more then that. I hope this help you.

Q: QuestionIs this machine effective to remove wrinkles of a...like an Indian saree or is it effective only on shirts. Does this work on Jeans?
Asked by KK.
- A:Answer Yes, the Swash does work on Jeans, pants, sweaters, shirts and many other items. Long or bulky garments (dresses, coats) may be challenging, though. A saree may only work if you can fold it up a bit and drape it over the provided hanger before putting it in the Swash.

Q: QuestionHas anyone tried to Swash more than one shirt at a time? Say, 3-5 shirts at once? Seems a bit elaborate if you have to Swash several shirts one-by-one.
Asked by purefusion.
- A:Answer I tried two shirts at a time and I would not recommend placing more than one shirt at a time in the machine.
