I've had my Targus Drifter II backpack since mid-2012 and it has been my faithful travel companion for over five years and counting. The bag has held up much better than I had any right to expect when I first got it. Because my job requires me to travel several times a year for a couple of weeks at a time this thing has been hauled many thousands of miles and crammed into many an overhead airplane compartment and other than a few smudges you can't tell it's five years old.
One of the things I love the most about this bag is the many, many zippered or velcroed compartments and pockets. The laptop sleeve is very spacious with with a very secure strap to hold your laptop in place. The next two compartments are rather large in and of themselves but offer mini-compartments to stash various accessories (chargers, battery packs, cables, head phones, etc). A few times a year I might have to take a three day/two night trip and this thing hold three days worth of clothes, my laptop, my iPad, chargers for everything, and a few other nicknacks.
The most telling aspect of how much I like this bag is the fact that the company I work for provided me with another brand name backpack that costs about $20 more than the Drifter II retails for and that other backpack sits in a corner of my closet. The Drifter II is that darn good.
Side water bottle pockets
A ton of other pockets and pouches
Solid material (well built and resistant to damage)
I honestly have no cons to list for this product.
