Customers have good things to say about the 65" Class 6 Series LED 4K UHD Smart Roku TV, particularly its picture quality, price, and Roku operating system. Many customers rave about the superb 4K HDR picture quality and find that it offers great value for the price. The Roku OS is also widely praised for its user-friendly interface and rich HDR content. However, there are some concerns about the remote control's quality and the TV's durability, with a few customers reporting issues such as vertical banding and a short lifespan.
I am very satisfied with my new TCL ROKU television and the overall experience with Best Buy‘s ordering and delivery process and would recommend it to anyone that asks! Communication, scheduling, and delivery were all handled professionally and on time! I’ve had the TV set up for a few days now and prior to any calibration, I am very impressed with the picture quality and features. Features I really like: - You can connect a USB Thumb Drive to the USB port and use it to pause live ANTENNA TV for up to 90 minutes ( a great overlooked and rarely mentioned feature)! - Though this TV doesn’t come with a voice remote like its 65R617 counterpart, you can still use an existing one from other Roku devices (in my case I used the one from my now unnecessary Roku 4) or purchase one separately to pair with your TV! Works like a charm! - Free Roku App has voice, headphones, and remote control features to operate your television via your smart phone or tablet! Works flawlessly for me! - Alexa integration works great once you set it up properly (took me a few tries due to having previous Roku devices that conflicted). Once setup, I can now tell Alexa to turn the TV on and off, adjust the volume, change the channel and inputs, etc. I have my Yamaha 4K ready receiver, Xbox one X, and Apple TV all connected to my TCL Roku TV with no problems from any device. All receiving 4K and HDR / Dolby Vision signals via applicable programming from Netflix, Amazon Prime Video, and recently HULU as well! Even antenna TV for local channels and my composite video connected basic cable box look very good on this television! I Purchased this TV previously from Rakuten but had to return it due to a defective screen. The 2nd time around I went with Best Buy and am so glad I did. Not only did I end up getting a better price by about $60, but delivery was also free, very professional, and on time. As a Best Buy rewards member, I also got some points on top of that. Overall, A great experience, a great TV, and the best value, video quality, and feature set for the price! Get this TV on sale if you can, but even at regular price it’s a deal!

This item is not the best of the best, and there are flaws in some of the design aspects. It doesn’t have the best picture or highest refresh rate in the world. And the sound is a little flawed on certain apps. What this Item DOES have though, far outweighs those blanket shortcomings that you absolutely run in to when buying any TV that isn’t an extremely pricey OLED. This TV is extremely user friendly, my grandmother can use this thing without a hitch. Everything is right there on the Home Screen right when it’s powered up. Left side of the screen has all your selections for searching, settings, and featured and on the “Home” tab you have your inputs at the very beginning which can be named for anyone who has trouble technologically. The picture is true 4K HDR 10-Bit and the lighting array is True Full-Array with your standard Local Dimming setting that can be heightened or lessened depending on your taste and what your watching/playing. There is a game mode that sacrifices quality for performance(TrueMotion 240) but it’s extremely slight that it’s hard to notice any difference in quality. You can tell on the fluidity of the frames though, I must say. So I keep mine on while gaming. The speakers are not the best in the world and they have their issues but they’re not the worst either by a long shot. Deep bass and a nice 2.1 Channel experience. The processor could do a better job on processing the effects sounds and music over the voices/narration. To hear the voices good you have to have it around a 30-35 and the music/SFX are ridiculously loud at the level. But it’s not a speaker issue, it’s a processor shortcoming. Performance wise I can say that this Device is on par with a mid range Samsung, given this operating system is far less demanding than an LG or Samsung’s OS it’s for you to decide if that’s good or not. It has an extensive I/O(input/output) panel. Fiber Optic, 3 HDMI(ARC), YPbPr, LAN, Headphone jack, VGA, usb, etc. The stands are well made, as is the mounting system in the back. The frame of the TV is high quality and the finish is absolutely delicious at this Charred Silver and Black combination. All in all I give the Device a 7.6/10 in performance and a 9/10 in performance vs cost. Because you get every penny you spend on this beautifully crafted device. Have a great day! I've been LG's TV customer for the last 12 years and I was looking an upgrade for my 55" 3D LG TV without expense to much money. Since last year I read that 55" serie P of TCL was one of the best TV only below of best OLED and premium brand's TV, so since then I was a follower of TCL. So, basically I was decided to buy 65" serie 6 of TCL with some concerns about quality issues, google assistance connectivity, roku system (since I never owned a TV with roku), and also quality of the image since I saw this TV in display at best buy store, even do, I bought it. Quality of TV's frame: It looks so good and great quality in finish. Looks nice in my TV room. Remote Control: It is very small and looks cheap, however its functionally is excellent. I'm ok, but could be more roust. Roku TV system: My first time with this software, and Wao! very friendly user interface, so fast to load applications... Now I really love Roku's system. This TV is ready to use google assistance due last Roku's software update. Sound: I read that sound is very bad, but to my this is not an issue because I have 7.2.2 home cinema, even do, to be honest sound of the TV is good comparing with most of the TVs. Obviously is not comparing with home cinema or sounds bar, but I ok with TV's sound. Image quality of streaming videos: Wao, wao, Image looks incredible (see pictures attached). I streaming some 4K's videos from you tube and its amazing. specially those videos with HDR. If you try, just be aware that you will need an internet connection of at least 20 Mbs so see real 4K videos. I realized that you can see videos at 1440P with DHR but this is not real 4K image...but again, just make sure you select video quality to 4K. Image quality of 1080P BluRay: I was complete surprise of the significant improvement of regular HD into this TV. Obviously is not a 4K image quality, but comparing with my last HD 55" TV, it is a big improvement. I guess this TV has a great up-scaling feature. At this point of the review I will not see bluray's 4K movies yet, but hopefully in a couple of days I will receive my new 4k player to see it in dolby vision! In conclusion: Amazing image, amazing system (Roku), great product without any quality's complaint so far. I'm very excited with this purchase. If you want to have the same results than I, just make sure that: 1. Buy HDMI cables version 2.0 which is for 4K tv's. 18 Gb speed. 2. If you have home theater, make sure it has support for HDMI for 4K (HDCP 2.2). 3. Your internet connection speed needs to be at least 20Mbs if you want to streaming real 4K. 4. Buy 4K player with dolby vision feature. 5. Buy 4K movies with HDR dolby vision.. Juts be aware that most of the movies has HDR 10, but the best is HDR dolby vision (most of the news movies has it). 6. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy
