Pros: There are a lot of features about this TV that I like a lot. It’s great for gaming, brightness is marvelous and its overall picture quality for sports and games is excellent. Audio is more than adequate out of the box for stereo TV speakers. Many will hook it up to a home theater anyway. Cons: It is making me nervous now. I have had it for just over one month. Today, multiple times with multiple years, it was acting like it had a power supply issue. No power was reaching the TV. It was plugged into a working outlet that was running other electronics fine. I tightened the power cord going into the TV multiple times and was plugging and unplugging it and got it to work. Rebooted….the issue repeated. It’s on right now but obviously I now have questions about its quality and reliability.

I wanted to buy Samsung Q series TV. However, the sales person at Best Buy changed my mind when he showed the difference in the picture quality of various TVs on display and also explained about the modern day desired features in a TV e.g. Refresh Rate, HDR, Backlighting etc. that you can not easily get in Samsung without paying hefty amounts. I ended up buying this TCL Q7 that has almost all the higher feature that you desire, at a very reasonable price e.g. 120hz refresh rate, full array local dimming, all HDR formats, 4 HDMI ports etc. The picture quality is amazing. Offcourse, you don't expect excellent sound in thinner TVs nowadays. There were some challenges in setting up the google TV using a phone, so I had to setup manually. Otherwise, its a best buy!
