The first time I dropped it and it cracked all around the home button and the snaps on the side also broke off. The volume knob constantly gets caught in my hair

Was looking for a budget friendly alternative to a lifeproof case. In regards to speaker sound level and call quality it is a very good case. I can hear very well over speaker phone and earpiece. Some however had trouble hearing me while the phone was on speaker. The home button is tough to operate in the case and reduces the thumb print recognition. The case doesn't handle hard shocks well and may likely come apart. The port cover on the bottom has completely fallen off after 20 days of use. You are getting your money worth and not much more. Wouldn't suggest using this case in underwater situations. Better suited for use in heavy rain or splash situation at most.

- The door that goes over the lightning port broke in less than a day (it won't stay closed), but before that happened... - People I talk to (call) say that it sounds like I'm 10 feet away from my phone when the phone is right on my face. - Then they would say that they hear about every 3rd word I say. - There's real bad echo when I then move to speaker-phone-mode. - Installed the case 5 times, trying to get the mute function to work. Can't get it to work (and I'm a mechanical engineering by training!) - Case sometimes "pops open" when I press the power button. Worth an exchange? No, because there's about 5 things broken - I'm not convinced that a new one will fix all of these things.

When we first bought the case, I was impressed with the style and protection. However, after returning 2 cases, I've gone back to LifeProof. The charging port cover on the first case broke off (it isn't attached using quality material) so we exchanged it for a replacement. The second case, when pushing the power button or volume adjustments, would come apart at the seam. I was prepared to love this case, but the quality (especially for the premium price) just wasn't there.

Case did its job in the water and on the beach but my phone calls had difficulty hearing me. It's had to remove the case and re-install every time you have an important call and don't have Bluetooth with you.

I wish I had read the Best Buy reviews before buying this case! Is there a worse case out there? Probably. Is there a worse case that costs $89.99? Probably not. Which is why they're selling it for $49.99 now. It is awful. Tech 21's claims are basically false advertising. The sound quality is abysmal. The case muffles my voice and it makes it harder to hear the person I am talking with. The case is not durable. Within a week of purchase, a tiny piece broke off the cap that covers the charging port, so it won't close, which makes the case not waterproof. Also within a week, the plastic cracked in 3 places after a drop of less than 4 feet, which also makes the case not waterproof. Maybe I should carry the phone wrapped in bubble wrap in an airtight plastic bag... I am extremely disappointed with the product, and with Best Buy for selling it, especially at such a high price. They should do better for their customers.

Unfortunately, this phone case looks great, feels very comfortable in the hand but the person you're speaking with can't hear you well. This happened with every person I called or who called me. I'm only using it now if I'm near a pool. Don't buy this product.

This phone case is terrible. I purchased it for my husband. It is almost impossible for me to hear him when I call because the sound is so muffled. He has to remove the cover sometimes. The piece that opens and closes so you can charge your phone already broke off. Of course this happened within the first month of using the case, but after Best Buys joke of a return policy expired so we were unable to return or even exchange it. I didn't realize you only have 15 days to return a product to Best Buy. I would understand if that applied to their appliances and their more expensive electronics but to apply that return policy to their smaller items makes me think that they know they purchase lower quality products. I will no longer purchase anything from Best Buy or this brand of phone cases again. Very disappointed.
