Works really good and easy setup !
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Very pleased with this indoor antenna and it picks up crystal clear for HD channels. Can be disrupted when it rains or storms and cloudy conditions, but over all I'm happy with this product.

Much better product than the rabbit ears
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Best Buy salesman suggested this over more expensive products. He gave me some additional tips on how to train it to be more receptive 360 degrees. It was still temperamental when installing. It also needs to be ever so slightly moved at times which is a pain since reception should be coming in from all sides. But the picture is very clear.

Works Great But not Omni-Directional For Me
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Tried several other indoor antennas but my TV did not recognize any signal from them. Although they all said HDTV, I discovered that the box must have the words Digital Antenna. So while in my local BB store, I looked at the Terk brand. It did say "Digital Flat Antenna" but it did not give the distance rating on the box. All other digital manufacturers did put the distance rating on the box. Fortunately, Terk had their 800 support number on the box, so I called them before purchasing. Of the 2 Terk models BB had on the shelf, one product was rated at 25 miles and the other was rated at 50 miles. Bought the 50 mile unit. You need to look for the antenna's distance rating, or call support if it is not on the box. The antenna is supposed to be omni-directional (Definition: sending or receiving signals in all directions). However, I found that it is not omni-directional. Had to try several positions before being able to pull in the max # of stations in my area. Once the antenna was situated in the best position, reception was great and got more stations than I knew existed in my area. The included signal amplifier was needed in my case, as I couldn't pull in as many stations without it. I like its slim design. I also like the fact that there are mounting bracket notches in the antenna's housing. So in my case, I didn't need the (optional) mounting stand. Designed & Engineered in the USA, but manufactured in (drum-roll, please!) guess where... ...China (of course).

simple hook up
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Where I'm at , I can get maybe 25-30 channels but can throw most of them out . I have two of these that are five years apart but are similar in that if a car goes by or big truck is coming , I lose reception . I am going to try to set up a splitter to this and see if I can watch thru an external tuner as well as the tv at the same time . I'll be able to get a better PIP that way if it works . I'll update when I do it . The range is maybe 25 miles ? I have done a whole lot of maneuvering to this thing to get it to work sometimes , from hanging it has high as the line will let me to laying it on the floor .
