Q: Up to how many miles does this antenna cover? I was looking for 100 miles but will settle on 60.
A: 65 miles
Q: can more than one TV be hooked up to one antenna or do you need one for each
A: I cut cable two years ago, bought this antenna and mounted it on top of my cable box outside, unhooked cable coming in to box and hooked antenna where I unhooked cable and Shazaam.Three tv's in house pick up all the channels in my area.Never will I ever pay a cable company to watch tv...especially with commercials.I stream now alot....without commercials, the way it should be!FINALLY I GOT TO VENT!!! I feel better now,I think I'll watch tv now.
Q: Does the Antenna come with a stand or can it lay flat?
A: I hang it on the wall, the higher the better reception! Wish they came in colors to blend with the paint! The square is rather unattractive but I have it at my cabin. I get 12 stations now instead of 4.
Q: Will this antenna work on the TV I have in my basement?
A: seems to work best when put in a window in the direction of closest signal. Should work in basement if there is a window,
A: From Mohu Leaf: It does not matter which side of the Leaf model antenna faces out if you are using it on an interior wall. We only suggest that if you are using your Leaf antenna in a window that you face the white side out since the white will reflect the sun’s rays where the black side will absorb them and potentially cause the antenna to curl. If you live in an extremely warm area you may want to secure all four corners of the antenna to the window you are using it in if possible. Makes sense, doesn’t it?
A: I get that too. Signal comes in and out depending on weather and reception. I get 12 stations now instead of 4. The higher you hang it on the wall, the better the reception. Also needs to face by window. Read the directions that come with it!
A: You don’t need an adapter because the small amplifier plugs into a regular power outlet.
Q: I have a very old "ancient"l tv in my bedroom. Will this antenna work on this TV
A: There are a lot of things to consider. TV needs a coax connector, the antenna needs to be mounted high and face the direction that the local channels are broadcasting from, and there are no high obstruction, ie, tall condo building/homes, trees etc, in the line of sight of your signals. They may interfere with the signal. I installed a couple of cheap ones on my boat and got better reception from them since they did not have to pass through the house and they were facing the right direction. Hope this helps
