Exactly what I expected to receive. I’m a little more of an “advanced” DIY’er, and it was as easy of an install as I’ve ever seen. Straightforward, clear instructions- so your local licensed electrician should have no issues installing it- don’t attempt if you aren’t certain of what you’re doing. multiple friends of mine were told they had to upgrade their service to handle the tesla charger- and that can be VERY costly if you have to pay someone. Educate yourself ahead of time AND find a licensed professional. Best Buy did great on their part. Box showed up in great shape, in a timely manner, and was actually hidden from street view. (Bonus points). Quality purchase through a quality business.

As more and more Tesla owners(and soon to be other EV brands) are causing a lot of Supercharger congestion in Atlanta, I made the amazing decision to go ahead and get a TWC. For those considering making the investment, or wonder if it's truly worth it, me and everyone else that has one will tell you DO IT !!! It will be the best decision you made all year. I will include a few tips in my review that may help for those making the transition. 1) Consider having it mounted closer to the Electrical panel(If possible) as it saves on the installation cost, mounting it further could result in paying for additional tubing and wiring cost. 2) Depending on where you are installing the TWC consider installing it on the back center wall(If possible) as oppose to the left or right wall as it doesn't limit you to just parking on 1 side of the garage. 3) In order to maximize savings try to charge during "Super Off-Peak" hours those are usually between the hours of 11am - 5am EST(Apply to your timezone). 4) Use the "Scheduled Charging" Feature on the app so that you can plug-up the car when you're done for the night and it will automatically charge at that designated time.

It’s great that Best Buy sells this so you can get it same day and use your reward zone discounts. Not much to say more than every other review. It does what it says it will, it was easy enough to install, and it makes it easy to schedule to charge my M3 at night when the power rates are cheaper. My advice for any future buyers is to look up the official documentation on the Tesla website that will tell you what you need and what you can expect with the power situation you have in your home. Most people will have to hire an electrician and spend money updating their power and/or adding an additional breaker box to their property. It takes more than retrofitting your existing dryer plug. Also as mentioned by others, navigating setting up the WiFi connection for it is tedious and takes repeat tries. But once it’s connected it’s fine, it’s just the initial setup that frustrating.
