Great calculator for high school to college.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Our son needed this for 10th grade algebra II. I did not want to spend this much money at first until the Best Buy employee that helped us told me how much she has enjoyed hers in school and now her second year in college. I felt so much better after talking to her and realizing this was the on he needed now and when he goes to college. He likes it and is glad we had her to help us make the right decision. Great product and great staff.

calculator for high school students
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This isn't a calculator you choose to buy just to have around. It is too complicated. It is however required for certain high school math classes.

Not very user friendly but....
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.ti-84s are very user friendly. So when I decided to get the CX, I was definitely in for a shock! It does a LOT...but I always have to refer to the manual! Lol. I'm sure when I get the hang of it, it will be perfect with no complaints!

Good, solid calculator

She states there was a slight learning curve to be proficient at using it, but likes it a lot. Great battery life.

Excellent calculator for High School students.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This calculator is amazing with all the features it has on it and all it can do this is a mini computer in itself!! My son is a freshman and is just beginning to learn all what this calculator has to offer, but it is easy to understand and to use. Q: QuestionIs this the Nspire CX or CX CAS? Description and picture do not match. They are 2 different models - which is this one.
Asked by koshka.
- A:Answer This is NOT the CAS version. The CAS version is not currently sold in store and can only be ordered online. After wasting a trip, I know you can tell the difference because the CX non-CAS has a white border and will say ACT approved on the package, like this one.

Q: QuestionDoes this calculator can solve a matrix with complex numbers? Or a system of equations with complex numbers?
Asked by Cristina.
- A:Answer Yes, but it is easy for it to give you a syntax error for stuff that it won't give you syntax error when you aren't using complex numbers. It's tricky, I believe there are some youtube tutorials for it though.
