Supreme Bourne
||Posted .Being a big fan of the Bourne series, this was a must-buy for my new 4K collection. The movie itself is amazing and arguably the best in the series. I think anyone reading this obviously has seen the movie, but is wondering if the 4K HDR upgrade is worth it: I would say that the video is not that vast of an upgrade due to the fact that the movie has a very greyed and muted color palate to begin with. Yes, there are some visual improvements with landscape shots and color richness in the explosions. The biggest benefit to the upgrade is the audio. With action films such as this, the hugely improved audio quality makes gunshots, explosions, and the squeal of tires in car chases much richer to the point where you feel completely immersed in the film like you're there in the middle of it. I would say if you're just a casual movie watcher and want a 4K movie that will really show the visual upgrade, then this might be one you want to skip, but if you're a true fan of the Bourne series and want to enhance your experience with it, this is worth the $19.99 price to pick it up.

Bourne trilogy delivers!
||Posted .Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. The original Bourne trilogy delivers a true trilogy experience with each movie serving as one act in the larger arc of Jason's discovery of who he is and who he wants to be. So many movie franchises call themselves trilogies these days but are really just new episodes in an ongoing story. It's nice to have a 21st century spy arc that tells mission stories that advance over three acts while building to a resolution of the grand story.

Worth the upgrade
||Posted .Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. The Bourne series is one of my favorite. I own the regular blu-ray box set but wanted to upgrade to 4k. Video 4/5, Audio 4.5/5 so much better than the regular blu-ray.

Love it!
||Posted .Owned for more than 2 years when reviewed. So I bought this back in 2018 and I finally watched it about a month ago! I listened to the book series which was addicting very hard to turn off to go to school. The movie was just as good a few little changes here and there but very enjoyable!

BD50 is great; BD66 just OK for a 4K
||Posted .The regular Blu-ray AKA BD50 isn't quite reference quality for the format but it's near the top of the next level down. I'd call it excellent but not reference. The 4K video presentation is a worthy upgrade for any fan and noticeably better due to the abilities of the format. Believe it's an upscale from a 2K scan. Recommended immediate pick up for any fan. If you're not a fan I'd recommend picking up some of the more reference quality 4K discs first. The audio is where you'll see the biggest upgrade on this disc. I'd give the audio for both the BD50 and thr BD66 a 4.5 each for their respective formats so the audio is a big step up between the BD50 and the 4K IMO. Movie 4.5 BD50 video: 4.5 BD50 audio: 4.5 BD66 video: 3.5 BD66 audio: 4.5

Upgraded DVD to Blu-Ray and still have the DVD
||Posted .I have the Bourne Supremacy movies on DVD and decided to upgrade them to Blu-ray over black Friday since they had them for under $4. Not only did I get to upgrade this great series to Blu-Ray I still have the DVD as these included the Blu-Ray + DVD (so I can still take the DVD's with the laptop if I decide to). The original DVD's were traded locally so my out of pocket was very minimal for a great series now in 1080 HD picture & sound!
