Fun Children's Fantasy Movie
||Posted .When this movie came out, I was happy that Fox took over the Narnia movies from Disney. Children will enjoy this third trip back to C.S Lewis's Narnia. My regret is that this was the last movie made. Now the children who acted in these three Narnia movies are too old to make any more. Hopefully, now that Netflix owns the rights to make more Narnia movies, we will see another movie soon.

I'm loving this microwave!
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I wasn't sure this was going to be a good product. It absolutely is. I use the microwave constantly throughout my day to heat coffee, water for the dogs food, and for meals. It cleans up spectacular. The interior is waaaaay better than plastic. Its compact ~ but roomy enough for family meals. It has the Combi feature which removes the rubbery breakfast burrito and replaces it with one that is crispy tortilla which is awesome, using the raised plate. It cuts down electricity and cook time as compared to cooking in the toaster oven at least 1/2. The look is sharp, the product feels and is quality. I'm super happy I bought it!

Just make it more like the book!
||Posted .Owned for 1 month when reviewed.I was OK with the movie version of Prince Caspian, but I am not a fan of this movie version of the Dawn Treader. Having just read the book with my 10-year old daughter, when watching the movie, even she started complaining right off the bat on how the movie was so different from the book. I can understand if the movie is only 80 - 90% like the book, since 100% re-telling of books as movies won't make cinematic sense. However, you don't need to introduce completely new story lines to a book that was already fantastically written. Dawn Treader was one of my daughter's favorite books in the series and she hoped for a more faithful retelling on the big screen, but the movie really let us down.

An Amazing Finish to an Amazing Series.
||Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I've never read "The Chronicles of Narnia", which is the basis for this film. Therefore, I can't compare it to the books; how they are the same and how they differ. I binged the three films, and enjoyed the immensely. Great stories, great acting and great production. "Voyage of the Dawn Treader", proved to be an excellent finally to the three films. I wish they would do the entire series of books.

good family film
||Posted .this 3rd big-budget adaptation of C.S. Lewis' book series the Chronicles of Narnia is a fun, adventurous family film. the plot is not as tight in this film compared with the previous two. however, this is due to the story itself, which comes from Lewis' book, and therefore is not really a criticism of the film directly. this film takes place on ships and islands. it fits well into that high-seas adventure genre, along with films like the Pirates of the Caribbean series. however, this film has a style that is more restricted to "family" entertainment, meaning it will probably not appeal to a broad range of adults without children. for fans of the Narnia book series it is a must-see and this edition offers a nice collection of bonus features. this film is very "clean" even for smaller kids; however some of the more suspenseful battle scenes, including some mythical creatures, might be too intense for very young children.

An underrated gem worthy of reconsideration!
||Posted ."The Voyage of the Dawn Treader" is an example of how Hollywood can take a children's book from over fifty years ago, and make an adaptation that is both relevant today and interesting to watch. This third film shows all the promise that the Narnia series had--it's a shame that Disney gave up on the film series after the second release. Overall, the third film is engaging to watch, the cast intriguing, and the cinematography breathtaking. This edition contains the standard DVD release, Blu-Ray, and digital copy. I normally don't buy these triple dips, but the Blu-Ray was nice to have for the special features and "Making of..." documentaries. If you haven't experienced this film or the previous two, you must make it a priority to see them--it is a great experience.
