Description
Follow filmmaker Carolina Rivas into the heart of the Palestinian experience in a film that travels deep into the West Bank to experience just what life is like in a town where heavily armed soldiers stand on every street corner, and electric fences serve as an unsettling sign that an age-old conflict is far from over. The Amer family is surrounded by the West Bank Wall, and as the absurdities of war force each member of the clan to endure the hardships of racial segregation, it becomes increasingly obvious that this is a land where peace has taken a leave of bereavement, and the only trace of hope to be found glistens in the unknowing eyes of a newborn child.~Jason Buchanan
