The Company [DVD] [2003]

Director Robert Altman explores the world of professional ballet in this 2003 drama. Starring Neve Campbell and Malcolm McDowell, The Company is based on Campbell's own real-life experiences working within a ballet company and features several members of the famed Joffrey Ballet in the roles of dancers. The film is presented on this DVD in widescreen with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound. Along with the feature presentation, the disc includes a feature-length audio-commentary track by Altman and Campbell, who attempt to shed additional light on the world of ballet and the film's production. Two featurettes, "The Passion of Dance" and "The Making of the Company," are also included, as are several extended dance sequences from the film.
