Available from Bosko Video, this collection contains the complete run of the early Fleischer Brother's cartoons upon a single DVD. The included titles are: Superman (pilot), The Mechanical Monsters, Billion Dollar Limited, The Artic Giant, The Bulleteers, The Magnetic Telescope, Electric Earthquake, Volcano, Terror on the Midway, Japoteurs, Showdown, Eleventh Hour, Destruction Inc., The Mummy Strikes, Jungle Drums, The Underground World, and Secret Agent. Although the cartoons show some age (they are over 50 years old), the fine animation quality is readily apparent, with nice shading and vibrant colors. These shorts have been transferred from the original 35mm prints, with a Dolby Digital Mono soundtrack. A simple intro at the beginning of the menu is the only extra on the DVD, but that shouldn't dissuade fans of this classic cartoon. Only Lex Luthor would hate this excellent quality title.
