Scary and Sexy.
Posted .The newest outcast of a high school finds out she's a witch as she is accepted by three other outsiders of the school. This movie is a must see on Halloween or at any girl's sleep-over party. It is shrewd and suspenseful. These four witches walk around in Catholic school girl outfits, getting revenge on everyone that has wronged them. The fun stops as they begin to turn on each other. What's extraordinary is that they consulted actual Wiccans during the production of this film. Even a couple of the actors casted are Wiccan. However, this film does not accurately depict Wicca. This movie only borrows a few elements and terms and absolutely has nothing to do about the true Wiccan religion. Fairuza Balk is so terrifying, yet sexy at the same time. The scene where she is flying and only the tips of her pointy witchy boots scrape against the floor is a fantastic cringe-moment. The extras are pretty good as well. The Making-Of Featurette provides a lot of information, as well the Director's Commentary. There's also three deleted scenes that are pretty decent, although I was hoping it would explain more about Neve Campbell's character.
