The Crimson Rivers [DVD] [2000]

Mathie Kassovitz's serial killer thriller The Crimson Rivers comes to DVD with a widescreen anamorphic transfer that preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 2.35:1. Closed-captioned English soundtracks are rendered in both Dolby Digital Surround and Dolby Digital Stereo, while a French soundtrack has been recorded in Dolby Digital Stereo. Subtitles are accessible in both of those languages as well. Supplemental materials include a commentary track from the cast and the director, three featurettes, filmographies, production notes, and a theatrical trailer. This is a fabulous disc for an unfairly little-known film.
