Once again, Shout Factory has done a superb job with a series that many have held a long affinity for. The first two films have received new 2K scans from original film elements but the other two subsequent films also maintain an adequate presentation. This sci-fi comedy horror series is still immensely enjoyable and is perfect for a binge viewing during the Fall/Halloween season. Each of the four films in the bluray collection itself is individually cased and held within a pretty sturdy box set. Although on the pricier side when initially released, I was elated to see it listed for $27.99 and picked it up immediately. Fans of the series or enthusiasts of the genre will certainly be pleased with the set and the way it is presented.

I have been wanting to get this set for a while now and when it finally dropped to $27.99, I knew I had to get it at that point and it was totally worth it. If I didn't buy this set, I would have never watched Critters 3 because of all the trash people talk about it but I ended up liking it. Critters 4 was boring though but nowhere near being the worst movie ever. Good amount of special features too. Highly recommend for critters/horror/sci fi fans.

This is a Scream/Shout Factory release that contains plenty of special features along with the best looking versions of Critters 1-4. While the first 2 are above and beyond the best of the franchise it's worth checking out all of them. Great sturdy packaging with each movie in their own case. The stories are all very fun and lighthearted sci-fi/horror flicks that contain enough creativity to make them more than just a Gremlins knockoff.
