Gritty British Mob Movie 1978
Posted .Bob Hoskins as Harold Shand is a bulldogged mob organizer and businessman who's a cutthroat set to find who and why someone is killing him after dodging 3 bomb attacks to his friends and businesses. The movie is as seventies as anything could get with the pulp austerity of a London jazz club. Far more high-energy than 'The Godfather', and more predecent than 'Scarface.' The movie is an old-school beast.
