Curse of the Bambino documents the decades of futility that have been suffered by the Boston Red Sox ever since they traded away George Herman Ruth to their bitter rival the New York Yankees. The DVD edition of the film preserves the original theatrical aspect ratio of 1.33:1. English and Spanish soundtracks are rendered in Dolby Digital Stereo. There are no supplemental materials of any consequence, but baseball fans and Red Sox loyalists will certainly find this DVD worthwhile.
