It's actually a 4/5 game, but I need to rate as 5/5 to balance the folks giving it 1/5 because a) it's not skyrim or b) "I didn't want a multiplayer game!". This is and ESO expansion and I, for one, am thoroughly enjoying it. The story is engaging. Not fantastic (like Witcher 3, or Mass Effect, or [insert name of epic RPG]... but enjoyable. The world is quite lovely and the new class is unique enough that it's worth building/grinding a new character. If you enjoyed ESO at all... you'll most likely enjoy this. Because I already own ESO, I'm not sure if this requires the base game or if it's all inclusive. If for $60 you DON'T get ESO base... then it's probably not worth it. If it includes the base game AND Morrowind? Then definitely worth it. The number of hours you'll play will MORE than justify the cost. Unlike WoW, I find the sense of exploration and questing to be much more rewarding and enjoyable. Bottom line: this FEELS like a Scrolls game. No, it's not Skyrim. It's its own thing but you will definitely feel like you're playing in the Scrolls universe and you'll have fun.

Pros: -It expands on a game that has shown a lot of improvement. -it introduces another class (the Warden). -The new area looks beautiful and mystical just like I remember. -There are a bunch of a players and active, friendly guilds. -Leveling up seems easier. -Gear drops seems great. -Dungeon finder is fantastic. Cons: -expansions always cost too much, but you could get ESO Plus. -Some content is locked behind a pay wall, but not much. -It almost gets to the pay to win territory, but not quite. Conlusion: It is like FFXIV dungeon finder, GW2 buy to play, and Everquest community wrapped into one game. It is fun, addictive, and relaxing. It brings something for everyone. Just wait to buy the Chapter packs later if you don't like spending too much.

I've been playing this game in most of my free time lately, I'm having an absolute blast. Some aspects of the game are a bit overwhelming to learn (professions) and the game isn't the greatest at explaining what does what. After you learn, it is incredibly fun and second nature. Questing is not repetitive but you'll never get bored running between places. I decided to subscribe to ESO+ and didn't realize that, among other things, this came with what's called a "Crafting Bag". There are so many items in the game that it's quite difficult to manage your inventory. This Crafting Bag is almost completely necessary, forcing you to subscribe.

It's hard to tell what you're getting when you purchase the physical edition of this game. As far as I can tell, the disc itself is just for ESO: Tamriel Unlimited, which you then upgrade to Morrowind with the digital code included in the package. Unfortunately, this appears to mean that if you were to resell this game later, despite the package's labeling, the other person would only be able to play the base ESO game. This, combined with the kludgy "install the entire game on your internal HD, then require the disc anyway" DRM scheme, makes owning the physical copy of this game frustratingly pointless.

I have enjoyed ESO (Elder Scrolls Online) for quite a while. But I found myself drifting away a bit and heeding the siren's call of Witcher, Zelda, and other worthy RPG's. I received this as a birthday present from my son, and after the first few minutes I was hooked yet again by ESO!! At first the Warden character didn't sound like much, but I have to say he is one of the most versatile builds in the game. Great graphics, sound, story and even the new NPC's are interesting !!! Morrowind is a crazy place! If you love RPG's and you already have ESO.. take the opportunity to dive into this major expansion! You won't regret it.

So i like this expansion. The story is alright, its pretty well rounded and the world is cool. My only issue with it is that after downloading it, any new character you make begins in the expansion rather than the original starter spots. Its sort of a hassle and i imagine throws off new player that dont know the game. You have to go through a loop or two to get back on track with the original story. Otherwise its pretty decent. Recommended for those who have already begun the base game.

ESO is a fun game and it has HDR support. The combat is just okay but you can make unique builds and have a lot of freedom. The main issue I have with it is ESO Plus. The benefits of it make it difficult to play without it especially the crafting bag that will allow you to store all materials in. Without this crafting bag you will run out of inventory space, which is already reduced to tempt you into buying more space with real money on the crown store. Overall, if you get ESO Plus this is a great game but go in understanding it will cost you $14.99 per month.

The review is for the disk itself. Not the game. You either like the game or you don't. From my limited exposure, it is not much different than other RPG on the interwebs. The Disk works as expected. I am only doing this to get extra points. I mean. It is a disk that installs the game. It works or it doesn't. Just a different way to buy the game. I am old school and want to have something tangible when I buy Games, and Best Buy is a great place to get them. .
