Excellent horror movie!!!
Posted .My wife and I love this movie! We saw it in the theater and again on DVD, just as good both times. Some people don't like all the Japanese remakes we're doing, I personally love it! The Japanese have wonderful imaginations and make really creepy horror movies, however, thier acting and special effects are poor. We have much better acting and great special effects, but we lack good storylines. We are mostly known for slasher films, (masked man chases woman with chainsaw or axe or knife, etc.) Don't get me wrong, I love a good-old-fashion American slasher film. But, the same old plot gets boring after a while. The Japanese have given us a whole new genre of horror films that I have a lot of respect for. So, if you're a fan of such films as The Ring movies, The Grudge movies, Shutter, One Missed Call, etc., then you'll enjoy this film. It has great acting, great special effects, and it's very creepy! I highly recommend it!

Enjoyable Horror Flick
Posted .I would recommend this to a friend"The Eye" is a horror film that is very enjoyable and simple. I had no problems with this movie at all and Jessica Alba did a great job acting. I had seen the original japanese version of the film and I have to admit that this American version is much better in my opinion. "The Eye" is a basic horror that is done well and it looks extremely good on Blu-Ray. I recommend that you pick yourself up a copy if you haven't seen it already.

One of her best movies to date.
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendWithout killing the plot, this was one of those that I didn't get to see in the theater, so we rented it when it came out on dvd. After which we decided to buy it on BD. We watched it again and were just blown away by the clarity, beauty, and fantastic scenes. Alba plays the character quite well, and is very believable. The differences between the dvd and BD versions is quite clear.

Creepy cool
Posted .Such a simple concept made into a good freaky movie. The un-nerving special effects of the ghosts are what make this a good movie and yet another enjoyable japanese homage film.

Creepy...not!
Posted .I was very upset with this movie. There was tension between Sydney (Alba) and her doctor (Nivola), but nothing EVER happened. Very dissapointing. It was just a very depressing attempt of a movie. Jessica Alba is gorgeous like always, but not enough to keep the interest of the viewer for the actual content of the movie brought or just plain lacked...
