Decent
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThe Hunting in Connecticut is not all that scary of movie until you watch it on blu-ray and in surround sound. Blu-ray allows one to watch a movie in high fidelity video and sound. The scare factor in any horror movie will be amplified at least two fold when watching the movie and listening to it through a good home theater system also. I think everyone needs to experience going from virtually no sound coming out of the speakers to all of a sudden a very loud sound as some monster, ghost, or serial killer jumps out and attacks. You may leave your seat as my wife does and did during this movie. The Hunting in Connecticut is recorded in DTS-HD Master Audio which provides a good soundstage for making a scary movie even scarier. I enjoyed watching this movie and would recommend this movie to anyone, especially if you have a home theater system.

Excellent horror movie!!!
Posted .This was a great horror movie, my wife and I loved it! This movie was dissed by certain critics because it steers away from the true story a bit. Hollywood does this for movie completion. The story is still real just altered a little bit for the sake of film making. The movie and the true story, done by the Discovery Channel, are both good and I recommend watching both for the whole story. Some people were upset that Ed and Lorraine, the real psychic investigaters that did the case, weren't in the movie. First off, Ed has since deceased, it was out of respect for Lorraine that they were taken out. Second, they were replaced by a preacher. No big deal. My only complaint, which is my same complaint from Unborn, is that there's no difference between the unrated and rated. Saying it's the unrated cut just to sell it isn't right, in my opinion. To me it's pointless! But, the movie itself is extremely good. I highly recommend it! I also recommend Unborn, but just watch the unrated version. (Apparently there's an extra minute in there some where, but my wife and I couldn't tell.)

Outstanding
Posted .This movie was so good. The plot was so creative, even though they changed it a lot from what really happened. Origionally it was a single demon that haunted the house not a claire voyant but it was good all the same. What's so amazing about this movie was that it was classic, some might say cliche, but to me it was just a good old fashioned horror movie. Some truth to it, lots of things popping out at you, a little creepy, some gore here and there, and a tragic back story. I have to say that the plot got a little confusing. I had to see it twice to fully understand what was going on in the movie. But it was worth it to see again.

Love older scary movies
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis movie is pretty cool. I'll watch just about anything if it's at all kind of scary as long as the acting doesn't suck!

A must see around Halloween
Posted .I would recommend this to a friendI would recommend this movie for someone looking for a good flick to watch around Halloween. The acting was good and the story line flowed well. There were no real slow spots throughout the movie where it lost my attention. Movie effects were good and caught me off guard even when I was expecting something to happen. A nice edition to anyone's video collection.
