I had to get this collection. I will probably continue to buy everyone that comes out. I know that this movie came with mixed revies but I enjoyed it very much. As far as the collection goes, every 'chapter' of the movie comes with its own disk and two extras. No digital codes were included, as promised. Everything else supposed to be there, was included. The picture quality was nice too. I am a big fan of the Hobbit and LOTR. They make me happy. Not much does. Smaug was great. I left out a star for missing codes.

These are classics and a great companion to LOTR. They look fantastic upscaled nearly 4K quality. Definitely glad to have this trilogy.
