I had watched Jesse Stone on television. Always full of commercials and cut in length. I am a Tom Selleck fan from ahem--years ago. So when I noticed I could obtain the episodes I went for it. All of his movies are tremendous. A alcohol inspired cop getting fired in California and moving to the east coast (filmed in Canada)to a small town and getting the Sheriff's job. A very dramatic list of 9 films. Great co stars, story lines and scenery. A great human cop show.

I love the Jesse Stone series and glad to have this in my collection. The only complaint I have is that you must buy volume 1 and 2 to get the first 8 movies. They are not in order and alternate between volumes 1 and 2. Other than that, love them!

Being a Tom Selleck fan is easy after watching this series as this is some of his best work in my humble opinion.
