The Legend of Korra: Book Three - Change [DVD]

First watched Avatar, the last airbender (the show not the movie) which drew me to this show; it's by the same creators and serves as a follow-up to the original story. The first two books were great, but this season by far has been my favorite. Not only do the cinematics always deliver, but the story has been expanded well to create character development and progression. Great show, and not only for kids b/c most themes are adult: corruption, world domination, struggle for power, self discovery, etc.

Many fans believed that The Legend of Korra took a misstep in its second season. I am not one of those. I felt that the second season did a great job of showing the audience the motivations and personalities of its characters. The third season is certainly a step forward and sets up the next (and final?) season. More Avatar is a good thing.

I really loved Legend of Korra. The series was my main introduction into the Avatar: The Last Airbender universe. I had put off watching the show due to my friends simply overhyping it, but after deciding to buy LoK Season 1 on bluray, I was hooked. Season 3 is definitely one of the stronger seasons w/ great action, comedy, drama, and character interactions. Highly recommended!

This is great series for kids. We really enjoyed watching all the episodes. My kids were very entertained watching how the air bender nation was beginning to come together. As in the other avatar the last airbender series with Ang and company .. all the new episodes with kora , these new episodes are extremely well done. I would highly recommend this Series to all my friends

I was hesitant to watch this series, not expecting it to be nearly as good as the original Avatar. I now believe it's just as good as the original while maintaining its own originality. It's a great story for anyone from 7 to 120 years old.

Legend Of Korra: Book Three – Change is an excellent continuation of the series. New villains with deadly powers are creating immense problems for Korra and her friends. Fortunately, she is also getting critical help from unexpected sources. The fight scenes are probably even more exciting and stylish than the first two books.

This season builds and improves upon the last two - it just keeps getting better and better. While the first two seasons had too much focus, imo, on the romance, love triangles, etc., we're finally starting to see Korra grow and mature. The characters are well written and developed, and the animation is stunning. One of the best animated shows out there.

Although slow in spots, and somewhat repetitive, when taken as a whole, The Legend of Korra is an experience everyone should enjoy. If you are a fan of Avatar, the Last Airbender, then you should watch this show. You will also love many of the cameos and homages to the original series that are found throughout the four seasons of LoK.
