This is an interesting game in my opinion. It's an RPG, but you play as a character who loses all of his memories during the final boss! So, in the 5 minutes you have before he wipes your party, you have to play through various memories as the main character remembers them. This creates a very unique RPG that's perfect for travel because you can play it in small bursts. It's not the most indepth game and the story's played for laughs more than anything else but its still a great addition to the system, especially if you like playing in hand held mode.

      Mediocre "throw back" JRPG

The Longest 5 Minutes is an interesting JRPG with a "throw back" look and feel to other JRPGs of the past. The game definitely produces some interesting ideas, however there are too many other flaws like generic dungeons which take away from the experience. If you're looking for an RPG to play on the Nintendo Switch, this is worth a try. For me however, there are other games that are more deserving of my time.

This game was released as a PC game before, but works much better on the switch. It starts out super easy, but dungeons get more complicated and monsters harder to kill. Loot isn't pertinent except for quest hand-ins because inventory changes between chapters. Multiple endings possible. Loved the art and the music was fantastic, too.

I’m going to leave this at a neutral review. It’s kind of expected when buying an indie game. But for the price it’s definitely worth it. Battle systems were very simple. Captures old school style RPG but lacked the satisfaction of defeating the last final big boss. Got to the point where I didn’t even upgrade my equipment. Kind of wanted to grind a little more, but overall... good story line and easy play through

This game is a fantastic RPG. Every time that I boot it up I want to keep playing for just 5 more minutes.... 30 or 60 minutes later I'm still fully engaged and having fun.

I pick this game up randomly. Heard about it once or twice before. Popped it in and played for a good 4 hours straight. Very fun and different. Not for everyone though so do your research.

The price is on point as I can’t see this as a triple a game (59.99). The graphics and price point is what sold me. It really was on a whim that I don’t regret.
