The Lost [Blu-ray] [2006]

The Lost is based on a novel with the same name by Jack Ketchum. Ray Pye is a charming, intelligent, and sadistic individual. He discovered his thirst for blood when he murdered two women on a whim. Four years later he still feels the urge to end the lives of anyone who stands in the way of what he wants. Ray is popular with the ladies, but you can't always get what you want and this is a problem for Ray. The authorities are sniffing at his tail and the tension is mounting. Ray must get his release one way or another. All bets are off when he realizes that he cannot have the woman he wants, his friends are scared of him, and his urge to kill has returned. The riveting conclusion to the film is a mercilous rampage throughout a small town. No one is allowed to stand in Ray's path on his quest to get what he wants. Ketchum's words and the character of Ray Pye are brought to life in this thrilling homicidal thrill ride. Chris G

Not a bad movie, got it for cheap so no gripes, took awhile to develop expected the plot to be a bit more complicated but ehh.

I wouldn't even know where to begin... This is one of the best movies I have seen all year... The acting is brilliant and the director did an amazing job adapting such a cool Ketchum novel... Seriously, I put this up there with TAXI DRIVER, ROMPER STOMPER, CAPE FEAR etc... It will keep you on the edge of your seat. The lead guy is gonna be huge, no question about it... You want to hate the guy, but you cant because he is so frigin charismatic!!! I'm not kidding this guy is really good!!
