First let me say, I hated the first Nut Job movie. I saw this movie at a dollar theater which I took my kids, niece and nephew because I didnt think it was worth the full admission at a regular one.
I was pleasantly surprised and really enjoyed the movie. I dont understand why this movie got poor reviews but I am willing to say that this film is seriously a good time. I laughed a lot and enjoyed the new characters. Surley has definitely gotten some character growth, and it was great seeing the whole ensemble work as a team.
Surprise of the year for me for sure. Had to buy it for my niece and nephew as stocking stuffers because they really loved this movie. Also, I just got saw Disneys Coco, and I enjoyed the Nut Job 2 more.
Its been awhile since I say the first Nut Job movie, this one was just as cute. A great story for kids to teach them not to take things for granted and to give them the idea that they should work for what they get.
My daughters and I had enjoyed the original Nut Job movie and in this sequel the gang is all back in a new adventure. the story is enjoyable much like the first one and has great animation and has a decently long running time. Your kids will enjoy it.
A great continuation to part one, the kids loved it, we went back to watch one and two all over again. Then really enjoyed the humor and adventure as the characters scurried for food and ownership of their park which was home.
I took my kids got watch it at the movies and I even liked it better than the first one it was really funny. So when it came out on blu ray I had to get it for my kids and the fact that it was on sale for $10.99 was a bonus.
