The Odd Couple is a hilarious movie from 1968, starring Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau. The film follows Felix Unger after his divorce with his wife, leaving him in a depressed state. Oscar Madison, a friend of Felix, decides to let him stay over at his house to recoup himself, but their differences begin to cause several issues with each other. The movie is presented in its original aspect ratio of 2.35:1, so expect the black bars on the top and bottom of the screen, but is still faithful to the original vision. A new 5.1 surround sound remaster has been made, but unfortunately the original mono track is unavailable. Although the only issue is the audio (which is really only a nitpick), this movie is highly recommended.

Purchased this DVD as a result of my daughter taking a theater drafting/drawing class and they are drawing the set of the stage play of the Odd Couple. I decided to purchase this movie and it is so funny!! Great movie and a really good pre-cursor to the the tv show from the 1970s. My daughter and I both thoroughly enjoyed this movie!!

This is one of my favorite films by my favorite screen writer Neil Simon, I love all his plays, films, and tv shows! Chemistry the two main actors have together is no wonder they did a bunch of movies together after this film.
