Great Set! Funny Show!
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great set has all the episodes including the specials. It has so many great interviews with the cast and famous fans of the show. My only complaint is that you can't turn off these episode intro commentary. It's like a short video with several interviews for each episode that play before the episode. While they are great it doesn't seem like there is a way to just get straight into the episode besides fast forwarding to the beginning of the episode. I haven't seen some of the episodes in a while and it sucks that they basically talk about and give away some of the best jokes before you see the episode. I think this might only be for the first six episodes. I haven't gotten through the whole set yet but it is a bit annoying. Besides that it is a great set!

Great show
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love both the US and UK version of the office, but the UK version really fulfills my need for a depressing comedy. As depressing as it was, it was still able to present you with a feel good ending. Overall, this show may be slow and dull to some who don't think British humour is funny, but to those who do think it's funny, find it genius. The extras on here are great, (excluding the directors commentary on the finale) and I enjoyed the footage of Ricky and Stephen coming up with ideas for the show. This concludes my review. Cheers

Not as good as US Office, but great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Although the American pilot is essentially ripped right out of the UK series, I don't like the UK version as well. The American show grew a life of its own and went above and beyond the original UK version. Ricky Gervais plays a great boss. But he's not as likable and uncomfortable as Steve Carell's character. The cast is far more realistic with the UK series, but I find myself enjoying the caricatures of the US show much more. It really comes down to what you like. If you want something that looks sort of like a serious documentary with flawed but realistic characters, this UK series is right for you. I can't help but like both versions.

Complete UK Office Set
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This set is the latest and also the complete set for the UK version of the series which is a thousand times funnier than the U.S. version. Warning to those who don't like adult content because there are many scenes that may offend a lot of sensitive viewers. This has all episodes and the Christmas Special that ties up the series along with behind the scenes featurettes. This does not include the David Brent movie that came out in the U.K in 2016 and here in the U.S. in 2017.

The Greatest TV Series Ever
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV doesn't get any better than this. You put on one of the DVDs and before you know it 3 hours has passed. It works because the characters are believable and it doesn't cross into caricature or parody. If you've never seen it, don't expect slapstick laughs or ridiculous scenarios and remember that the comedy is from watching the discomfort levels of each person rise as they either say or do the wrong thing and realise it's all caught on camera. Unusually for me, I can even watch the bloopers repeatedly. 4 DVDs of comedy perfection

Great addition to any collection
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I prefer the American Office and consider the U.S. version one of the best comedies of this generation, but this original Office isn't far behind. Perhaps with a couple more seasons it could've been better. 12 episodes isn't a lot. But the few episodes that did air are classic. Ricky Gervais's David Brent is one of the most memorable characters in tv history. He's not quite as lovable as Michael Scott but still funny and entertaining.

Fun British comedy
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Shot in the deadpan, mockumentary style of Spinal Tap, this low-budget BBC series is quick in its wit and layered in its satire. Its also very British, with loads of UK pop culture references and provincial slang, of course (subtitles help). It became hugely popular and influential, and it for once deserves all the media attention and accolades it has garnered. Worth repeat viewings!

Still funny after all these years
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The original UK "Office" holds up well, and the 10th anniversary set is a real bargain at $10. New extras help put the show into "historical" perspective. It's always fun to hear more from Gervais, so these bits really are a bonus. Same picture quality as before, so you may not want to upgrade if the 12 episodes and Christmas special are what interest you.
