Still a great girly flick
|Posted .Owned for 1 week when reviewed.I would recommend this to a friendFunny at so many points but the basic story is sad because the husband is unfaithful in a marriage where the wife loves, trusts and cares for him. It is uplifting and inspiring when three woman bond and support each other that sadly have one thing in common - the unfaithful man. In the end, it shows the strength of woman and the value of our friendships.

Cute Chick Flick
|Posted .I would recommend this to a friendThis movie had an unusual twist. Cameron Diaz has a new love interest that she thinks is a great guy until she discovers that he has a wife. After, she goes out to the country to surprise her boyfriend, and his wife answers the door it throws Cameron for a loop. As she hobbles back to the city in her broken heel, she is angry. The next morning her ex-guys wife shows up at her job to ask her a question to find out that her worst suspicions are true that her husband is cheating on her. As the wife has a melt-down Cameron tells her if she leaves she will tell her anything she wants to know. She goes out for drinks with Cameron to ask her how many times had she slept with her husband. After, the wife gets blasted Cameron puts the woman in a car to send her home thinking it is the end of the fiasco only to find out that the wife is downstairs in the lobby at her job the next day. Then at her front door. The wife forces Cameron to be her friend. Later, the two women find out that the husband has been cheating on them both with a younger, sexier woman. The two women decide to follow the husband on a so call business trip to get a glimpse of the new other woman. After, Cameron see's the young thing she starts running after her to find the wife on her back trying to stop her. The wife and Cameron get into a tussle to find the younger, sexier woman standing over them. When she ask the two women what is going on, they tell her that her boyfriend is a liar and cheater. The three women form an alliance and decide to work together to get even with the husband and break him financially.

He was the perfect man, but...
|Posted .What happens when a woman finds out that her perfect man has been lying to her and has a wife? If you're Cameron Diaz, you kick him to the curb, but her ex-boyfriend's wife is a lot harder to push away. Uncertain of what to do now that her world is shattered as she finds out her husband has cheated on her with a beautiful woman, she latches onto the other woman. Cameron's character is a strong willed lawyer and begins to come up with a plan, but Leslie Mann (the wife) finds out that not only was her husband cheating on her, but there is another "other woman". The three women decide that they need to take him down in way that maybe, just maybe the serial cheater might learn a lesson. The Other Woman is very funny and the actresses have greater comedic timing and good rapport with each other. It is a movie that I will watch more than once for sure.

Fabulous feel-good film!
|Posted .I was hesitant to see this film, but boy was I glad I did! It was a bucket of laughs from beginning to end. Leslie Mann OWNS this film, but shares her screen time with Cameron Diaz and Kate Upton, two women who hold up their end of the deal. While many have panned this film for being formulaic, I disagree. We are entertained by the extremes in our society, and we love to tell stories about what has happened in our lives. Would this really happen in real life? Maybe, maybe not, but that is irrelevant. What you have before you is a smooth ride with laughs, tears, and sighs. While the theme is revenge against a cheating husband, the story reveals that life is about the ups, the downs, and the friends we make along the way that get us through the tough times. Five stars for The Other Woman!
