Excellent upgrade from a DVD
Had this film on dvd for a while now. And I have been waiting for the Blu-ray to come out. Out with the old ( DVD ) in with the new ( Blu-ray ) I don’t think it’s really necessary to update to 4K if there ever be one. Probably will lol. But it’s a regular RomCom so Blu-ray is a great choice.
10 years ago this movie came out and Blu-ray discs were just on the verge of making its way to be mainstream. The Proposal movie never disappoints. Sandra Bullick, Ryan Reynolds and Betty White are comedic geniuses in this film. No other chick flick has been able to top this film since it came out a deacde ago! Great film to watch in any situation - alone, with your family/friends, with your partner, etc.
Sandra Bullock stars in the romantic comedy The Proposal, as a Canadian immigrant who creates a demanding and difficult work environment for her subordinates at the office. When the news arrives that she's about to be deported to the Great White North, she rushes into a marriage of convenience with her young assistant (Ryan Reynolds) to prevent such a catastrophe from occurring.
