I'll Be Listening To This One For Awhile...

To categorize this album as solid is an understatement. In this world you're lucky or you've purchased a good album if you regularly listen to 5 tracks off of the album. This one is in the double digits. This one puts me back in the mind of when I 1st listened to Thug Motiviation 101. Every track is bananas. Jeezy utilized some of the same hot production off of the Trilla joint from Rick Ross, plus Kanye and a few others. Plus being a Jeezy fan, you know that his talk about the streets is credible. Plus his talk of Obama is on point too, but not a stretch... I'm going to have to break out the c-word for this one. Classic!!!

Young Jeezy does it again........... as one of the few people who actually still buys CD's and supports artist you actually make good music, I must say am feelin this album. I'm glad he didn't fall into that whole C.D. sounding like a robot style that so many people are doing just straight trashing the rap game..... The true reason hip hop is dead (no originallity). Jeezy as usual stays true to himself and style in this L.P. by keeping his trademark ad-libs, and continues to grow in his vocabulary. Bottom line......... BUY IT!!! you wont be dissatisfied!

The first album jeezy did thugz motivation 101 was the best after that its been going down hill... the name recession doesnt match the songs on the cd...i though it would be a much more uplifting album about a black president and the struugle in america... but again its just talkin about Drugs.. Baking soda and his homies.. i guess in the hood not workin.................could be better much better

Never played this cd all the way thru...system in the caddy made me do it .. if this were a new artist's first album it would be beloved and applauded ..however, its not. And for young' looks like he was just trying to get thru the recession himself. Can't really hold a candle to the motivation trio. Still nice to have in the collection.

Jeezy showed that he can make more than just trap music. The joint with Nas surprised me and after reading a recent interview about how he is going to vote this year is surprising as well. This guy is also slept on lyrically and is very diverse. The tracks on this album are amazing and is worth every cent. Go get the Recession and turn the bass up.

The Recession is the most complete album yet from Young Jeezy. He kept it real with the hood and made many bangers with this album. Not that many calabos on this album. He kept true to himself and is still labeled "The ad-lib king". Whole ablum is hot from front to back. If you have a system in your car make sure you have this album.
