Song type are great for Rosanne's voice
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Rosanne is at her best on this album! The production and the song types are very good. I like the fact that she and her husband wrote or co-wrote the songs based on personal experiences. I think she is definitely going back to her roots here.

Rosanne Cash at her best

Her Best so Far
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is Rosanne's best album to date. Beautifully written, sung and played. The songs are classic, yet personal and both entertaining and interesting to listen to. The million dollar chorus of talent singing background on "When the Master Calls" alone is worth the price of the album. She and husband John Leventhal are in a class by themselves with this album. I bought the deluxe set which is packaged beautifully and clearly with a lot of thought and pride. You will not be disappointed, whether you are a fan or not. Johnny would be very proud!
