This was my first time playing Sims, and I am having a blast! It's so much fun to see all the options for interactions and just mess with the Sims. I generally play this game when I'm bored, because it is a huge time waster. The controls are a little bit weird, but they are very easy to learn and you quickly get used to them. There are some minor issues: The game does stall a little but when I switch form live mode to build mode. Sometimes the game does seem to stutter, but besides that I have not hand any performance issues. .There is a lot of already available DLC which is annoying, but so far it hasn't detracted from the base experience.

Awesome game with a few little glitches like occasional one of my characters keeps disappearing. On one occasion two parents both wanted to complete an action with the infant child at the same time and the child kept disappearing and reappearing in the other parents arms and eventually the child disappeared completely and the parents arms bent straight backward until I rebooted the game. All in all though I love the game and the overall play is exactly what I would expect from the next generation of sims.

I got this for my daughter (10) as Xmas gift. She's loving it so much as she's able to create a family, build a house and play with them while learning some living skills (how much thinks costs and you need a job to pay for them :D ) It's not a learning game, but it's a funny one to keep her entertained while building houses and families. She's not a gamer and she's just starting to play PlayStation, so don't expect this review to fit hard-core gamers or the ones going the extra mile with the games.

Finally console players get to live their dream of playing The Sims the same way people on PC do. Sort of. The content is the same and graphically it is similar. My time with The Sims 4 was fun, I enjoyed watching my sim work and live, fall in love, die and his kids and grand kids grow. The controls weren't bad, but they weren't as good as on PC and they did take some getting used to. I must admit, I don't regret this purchase, but I see how many would

Although I only played the first two Sims releases I always enjoyed them. This new one is no exception it has a lot of features I have yet to tap into and the game itself has been a great continuation of the series. If you are a SIMS fan you willenjoy it but of course the Sims are not for everyone and as usual I took a lot of advantage through online shopping at Best Buy everything came with no problem in a really short time and no shipping costs are always nice.

I loved playing the original sims (mind you on a really old laptop), but now am a PS4 owner and wanted to try it out. I read reviews about how the controls left much to be desired, and unfortunately, I echo that sentiment. I barely got past creating a character, and didn't enjoy much after. Also, the game is still freaking new, but Best Buy didn't accept returns...

Like all console versions of the Sims before it, the Sims 4 on PS4 is bug ridden as well. This is unfortunately a familiar problem with the Sims 4 on console regardless of your system of choice. If you can stomach random freezes and crashes every now and then, have fun playing with life. EA needs to step it up in the quality control area more. But overall it's a good addition to see series, but only marginally good.

I remember how many hours as a kid I would spend playing the sims on pc. Would never think a game would come along that would draw me in again like that again but this one did. Though I feel this game is not better than sims 3 its still a very enjoyable experience which I find hours have passed and still eagerly await to see what will happen next
