A: Hi Bob - Range is unlimited to find misplaced items. All Tiles work off of Bluetooth technology. If you are within Bluetooth range (250 - 400ft) of your Tile you can ring the Tile using the app on your phone. When in Bluetooth range the Tile will ring so you can hear it to find. If your Tile is outside of Bluetooth range it will auto connect to the millions of people who make up the Tile network to find your item. The Tile network is every phone with the Tile app downloaded. When anyone in the Tile network comes within Bluetooth range of your misplaced Tile you will get an updated location in your Tile app, no matter how far away it is from you.
