  Nice upgrade to an existing Tivo Roamio OTA, however Tivo's latest UI update is required and can be frustratingly sluggishness.

  I have a TiVo Roamio OTA DVR. It came with a standard remote, but I really wanted/needed a remote with voice control. This new VOX remote works great with the DVR. All you do is press the blue 'Talk' button, say what you need, and the remote interfaces with the DVR and shows results of your request. This VOX remote did not come with the DVR, so it was a separate purchase - for about $50.

  The remote is okay,but I don't feel like I use the voice controls nearly as much as I had thought. Also, it makes you upgrade to the new "TiVo Experience" and it really sucks.
