K, I am going to say this right now.. I love Hollow Bodies more than this new album. HB was brilliant! Fantastic zombie concept throughout and each song was larger than life... This new album has the same feel as HB but with less of a "wow!" factor about it with the first listen. Don't get me wrong, I really liked it with me first album. But it took me a couple listens to really get into it. This album is significantly less heavy then any of their albums tho (minus a few songs). If you are a blessthefall fan, buy it. If you are new to blessthefall.. I would recommend HB or Witness, but this is definitely not a bad start either.

Overall a money worthy album from Blessthefall. You can tell they've expanded their horizons in terms of musicality, heaviness, and diversity in Beau's catchy melodies. A great follow up to empty bodies which in my opinion is my favorite so far from their work. Granted their recording studio must have been having an off day because the recording was muggy sounding compared to empty bodies as you can hear in overall vocals and rhythm guitars. The heavy moments are greatly blended with the pop-punk sound of Beau's voice and lead guitar really shines even though it is eclipsed a lot in the choruses. Overall if you are a fan of these guys pick it up, the songs are more memorable and touch some serious topics, and the diversity in the chord structure and choruses will make you want to hit the replay button.

My son downloaded some of the song on this CD, but based on what he heard, felt he would like the rest, as well. I bought this to stuff in his stocking this Christmas. Love the title track!
