does not toast evenly, only half gets done. i purchase this one based in what i had before, same brand, and it did great for many years.. but this one, not that good..

Unit is built well and toasts bread evenly; likewise, controls are simple and intuitive. Overall, it looks sharp on the countertop and I would recommend it. My only complaint is that the riser is not high enough for shorter pieces of bread.
